Who bills you?
- Direct Spotify billing: cancel in Spotify Account.
- Apple App Store, Google Play, Amazon, or carrier billing: cancel with that billing provider.
What to expect after canceling
- Premium usually stays active until your next billing date.
- Auto-renew stops after cancellation; your account returns to the free tier at period end.
Important warnings
- Deleting the Spotify app does not cancel billing.
- Canceling Premium is different from deleting your Spotify account.
